NOTE THAT IMPORTANT CHANGES HAVE BEEN MADE TO THE 2013 COMPETITION
The WCHRI Innovation Grants competition is focused on studies that will lead to improved health outcomes for women and/or children. The 2013 competition will have 2 streams: 1) Project Grants and 2) Patient/Community Health Grants. Separate committees will assess each stream. The competition will provide a maximum of $50,000 operating funds to be spent over 24 months.

Eligible applicants must hold an appointment at the University of Alberta, and must be members of WCHRI.

committee review and results
The Innovation Grant Advisory committees are broadly composed of leading experts from the University of Alberta. Eligible applications are reviewed based on scientific merit and ethical acceptability.
Official results will be emailed to the Principal Applicant. Successful applications will be posted on the WCHRI website.

Applications must be received by the WCHRI Grants Administration Office, located at 4-081 Edmonton Clinic Health Academy (ECHA), 11405 – 87 Avenue, not later than March 20, 2013, at 4:00 p.m. Late applications will not be accepted.
